Yes. ScamSkeptic is free to use. There are no subscription fees or in-app purchases.

No. You can use ScamSkeptic without creating an account. Your progress and reminders are stored only on your device.

Does it call my bank for me?
No. ScamSkeptic does not make any calls. It teaches you safe steps: when you get a suspicious call, hang up and call back using a number you trust (like the one on your card or statement).

What if I think I was scammed?
Contact your bank or credit card company right away using a number you trust (from your card or statement, not from the caller). Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. If you gave money or personal information, act quickly.

How do reminders work?
The app can send you gentle reminders to practice. You choose when and how often. These help you build the habit of stopping, verifying, and calling back using trusted numbers.

How do I stop notifications?
Open the app and go to Settings. You can pause reminders or turn them off completely. You can also manage notifications in your device's system settings.
